The Beautiful South of England
I live in the South of England in a place called Ferndown. The county and its neighbours close to me (Dorset, Hampshire etc) contain some of the most beautiful countryside to be found in England. Being a birdwatcher myself I have had the pleasure of experiencing many of these attractions and would like to show you round some of these places. (my own photos will follow in time as I am just beginning photography!)
First and foremost, I would like to show you a bit of the coast, white cliffs and long sandy beaches are all a feature of the South Experience. Here are some of the seaside towns, click on the links for some more information:
New Forest
A lot of these places are within riding distance of where I live, and being a keen cyclist I have had a chance to take some of the routes through some of the most beautiful countryside in Dorset.
